Yes means taking ASL for the required number of years will satisfy graduation requirements. In most cases, this means the student does not need to take any further foreign / world language courses once admitted to the institution.

No means the institution does not permit ASL courses taken in high school to satisfy graduation requirements. All students may need to take a specified amount of foreign / world language credits (such as one semester, or a full year-long course). EXCEPTIONS: 1) Some schools in this category will accept ASL taken in high school if it was for dual enrollment credit. 2) Some schools allow students to transfer college-level ASL credits taken at a different institution to fulfill graduation requirements.
